7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty: Tag!

Here is the 7 Deadly Sins Of Beauty tag! I don't really know why it's called that, but otherwise, I hope you enjoy it!

1.GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

Most inexpensive: probably one of my eyeliners.
Most expensive: I have no idea... I don't buy that many expensive products.

2.WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relashionship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

The beauty product that I have a love/hate relashionship with is probably eyeshadow. Because I have very oily eyelids, and when I'm wearing eyeshadow for over an hour, it starts to look really weird. But I love the way that it looks before my skin starts to show it's natural oils.

3: GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

eos lip balms

4. SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

Lip gloss, Lip stick, Eye Primer

5. PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

Probably foundation and any face products because they cover up what needs to be covered up.

6. LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?
--- skipping this one ---

7. ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

I really don't know. I would LOVE a BabyLiss Pro Nano hair straightener. And I would love some more blush.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, and you can do this tag if you want, just tell me to go check out your blog, and I'll be sure to read it!

Simple Elegant Eye Makeup Tutorial!

This is going to be a simple, yet elegant eye makeup tutorial. Hope you like it!

Start off with your naked eye. Make sure that there is no makeup on it.
Next, add a light brown eyeshadow all over you lid. I also added a shade darker and blended it into my crease. This is optional.
 Optional: Curl Your Eyelashes.
Apply mascara to top and bottom lashes.
Add pencil eyeliner to your water line. I only used it half way into my waterline, but you can use it however you'd like
This should be your finished result.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. It may take some practice if you're a beginner, but you'll get it! I promise!

How To: Hide That Greasy Hair!

Hey Everyone! This post will be on a bunch of tips on how to hide greasy hair. And I know that every girl gets greasy hair and may get teased about it, or maybe they just don't want to see it there. It isn't good to wash your hair everyday because it takes away your natural oils, and you want to keep those! So, here are some tips on how to hide your greasy hair.

1. Baby Powder is you BFF... Pour some baby powder on your hand, and start massaging it into your hair. Most girls have greasy hair by their roots, so that is where you want to focus on putting the powder. This hides your greasy hair and it also doesn't take away your natural oils. What I like to do, is once I massage it into my hair, I like to put my blow dryer on low, and give it a quick blow. This spreads it out all over your hair on where you need it. If you have dark brown or black hair, I wouldn't recommend this because you will probably be able to see the powder in your hair, no matter how much you massage it in. So this tip is probably best for girls with light brown or blonde hair.

2. Put your hair up in a pony tail and add a colorful headband. The colorful headband draws the attention away from the greasy hair. Make sure that it's not a head band that has the 'spikes' that separate your hair, because this will cause an even more greasy look.

3. Don't use a comb on your hair. This will separate your hair and make it look even more greasy than it is. I would suggest using a soft bristled brush instead of a brush that has the bristles with the balls on the end, because those also make your hair look greasier.

4. Braid your hair and add an accessory. I like to use a clip-in flower.

5. If you're not in school, wear a hat.

I hope that these helped! If I figure out more tips and ideas, I will write them on this post.

Happy Spring!

Should I.....

Heyyyy! I have a question. Would you guys like to see a tutorial on how to hide greasy hair? Because washing your hair every-single-day isn't healthy, and I know that some girls get annoyed with that because if they don't wash it, they get greasy hair. I know I do.. So comment and tell me if you would like me to say how to hide it and some good hairstyles for it.

Thanks! :)

From Head To Toe: TAG: Would You Rather- Beauty Edition

Hey guys! I've decided to answer these questions! Hope you like it!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
-Lose all of my palettes and eyeshadows. Only because I don't use those that much.
2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
-Never be able to cut it again. I mean, I could be known as the dirty-blonde Rapunzel! And I would NEVER chop off all my hair. It wouldn't fit my face shape...
3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
-Pink only because I've never tried a coral colored blush.
4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
-Ummmm...... I can't answer this one. I chose both!
5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
-Lipstick as eyeliner, unless I had a pink eyeliner. But I usually use a pinkish lipstick, and a black eyeliner, so I would NOT want black on my lips. I wouldn't want pink underneath my eyes, unless it was liquid eyeliner lipstick, then i would use it above my eyes on the lash line... IDK.
6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
-I don't shop at either, I have none of their products. But if I had to chose, I would pick Sephora because It's not as pricey as Mac. But they both have very expensive products.
7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?
-One Lip Color. There are way too many eyeshadow colors to give up.
8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
-Winter clothes in the summer. Cuz then, I could take some off. Haha
9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
   -BRIGHT NAILS.
10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?
-Favorite lip product because I love my eye products and I don't wear that many lip products.
11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
-Messy Bun. Pony Tail. Messy Bun. Pony Tail. IDONTKNOW...
12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
-Never use lipgloss. I don't use lipgloss that much anyways. But I'm constantly painting my nails. When I get one chip in my nails, I will usually go and paint them again.
13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
-Either one. If I had a full set of bangs going across my forehead covering where my eyebrows would be, then I would rather shave my eyebrows off. But.... If I didn't have bangs like that, I would draw them in with a light or dark brown sharpie.
14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
   -Nail polish.

Hope You guys liked this. If you did, then go ahead and copy all the questions, and answer them with your own opinions and tell me, and I'll make sure to go check it out on your blog!!!

Hair Tutorial: Wavy/Curly Hair Overnight Without Braiding.

Hey Girls! Do you want wavy/curly hair overnight? Do you find braiding difficult? Do you always end up twisting your hair instead of braiding it? Well, now you can have wavy/curly hair without having to braid it! It's simple, and all you need is about ten bobby pins!

Okay, Lets get started. First thing. Make sure that you hair is combed out thoroughly. Also, make sure that you hair is damp. Not wet. Not dry. Damp. Now, separate your hair into two parts with equal amounts on each side. I would suggest parting your hair in the middle. (You wont have to keep it this way, it'll only be overnight, and  you can switch it to the side the next morning.) If your hair is long, then you should separate your hair into three or more sections. Now, take one whole side of hair and use a hair tie to keep it out of the way. Next take the other side that is not tied, and brush it forwards so it is facing the way that your head is facing. Now, split that into two pieces, and twist them around each other. Once you have done so, bobby pin the twisted hair to your head. Pulling it back to the back of your head and then pinning it will leave better results (from my experiences) I would suggest using 4-5 bobby pins to make sure that is is secure. Now, do the same with the opposite side, and sleep!

The next morning, take all of the bobby pins out of your hair and take out the twists. Now you can part your hair however you want, and POOF! Wavy/Curly hair! :)

Optional: With the finished product, you can hairspray it to make it stay in longer.

Optional: With the finished product, you can add a headband to complete the look.

I got this idea from Andrea @andreaschoice on YouTube. I added a few changes to her idea, but if you would like a video on this, here's Andrea's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iP3k1t0LjQc
The serum is not needed, and you do not need to completely blow dry your hair before you do this. You can simply let it air-dry and start the process half-way through. This way is healthier for your hair. But you can also find your own ways on adding some 'pizzazz' to this look.

If you would like a makeup tutorial that would look great with this hairstyle, please comment below!

Happy I could help! :)

Hey!

Hey guys! I just wanted to know if you had any requests for reviews, tutorials, or just need some tips. If you do, please leave a comment with you request! I'll make sure to get to it as soon as possible!

Thanks :)

eos

The brand "eos" is the most moisturizing brand that I know of. I am obsessed with their chapsticks because they just keep my lips moisturized all day with only 1-2 applies. They also make hand cream, body lotion,  and shaving cream. I haven't tried the shaving cream or the body lotion yet, but I've heard that they are really good! I really suggest that you go and check out their website. Their products are absolutely amazing.

Colour Riche Balm

Hello! A few months ago, I bought the Colour Riche Balm in Rose Elixir. I know of a lot of people who don't like this product because it isn't pigmented enough. I disagree. It has a little bit of pigment, but not too much. I like that :)
L'Oreal Colour Riche Balm in Rose Elixir.
$6.49 at Walmart
I like to think of this product as a lipstick, chapstick, and lip gloss, all in one! It has a tint of color of a lipstick, the moisturization of a chapstick, and the glossy shine of a lip gloss! I use this product a lot because it isn't too pigmented, so it doesn't look like I'm wearing a load of lipstick.

Thanks for reading! :)

Hey guys! Y'all know my friend Maddie, right? If you don't, make sure that you check out her blog. This is my idea of the perfect makeup that will work well with the outfit that she picked out on her "cute for school" post. Her blog is maddiesfashionsite.blogspot.com

Organic Wear Physicians Formula  Jumbo Lash Mascara
All organic.

Rimmel Clean Finish Foundation

e.l.f. Blush in Pink Passion

L'Oreal Paris Open Eyes Pro Eyeshadow Quad
Rimmel Special Eyes eyeliner in Black

Wearing your hair up in a pony tail or in a side braid will completely complete this look. Make sure that you check out the outfit to go with this idea on Maddie's Blog.

C Ya!

Two Amazing Mascaras

These mascaras are amazing. The Maybelline One By One Volume Express was my all-time favorite mascara for a while. But then, I discovered the Organic Wear Physicians Formula Jumbo Lash Mascara. Both of these have the best brushes. The Organic Wear brush is very large though...  I really recommend checking them out.
Thank U!

New Favorite Nail Polish

I recently bought the Sinful Colors Professional nail polish in Thimbleberry. I absolutely love this color. It is sort of a coral color. I bought it at my local Walgreens for $1.99. One thing that I don't like about this product is that I have to do 2-3 coats to have a full color on my nail. Other than that, the product is absolutely amazing. I also bought this nail polish in the color "Gorgeous," and the name explains the color. It is like a blue-green-teal color. There is also one other color that I really liked that is called "24/7." It is bright, neon pink. I didn't buy it though... I love these products and you should definitely go check them out.

My Hair Care Routine

Hey Everybody! So I've been thinking about healthy hair lately. In the beginning of March, I got my haircut. Then, I went back about a month later to the same hair salon to get a streak of my hair dyed, and my hair stylist said that I was doing something right to keep my hair nice and healthy and "split end - free." So, I thought that I should share these tips with you! :)
-Okay, so when I step into the shower, the first thing I do is get my hair wet. Then, I will start washing it. How I wash it:
_I shampoo first. I pour about a quarter-size amount onto my hand, and then I massage it all over my head, making sure that I massage the scalp as well.
_Next, I wash it out and pretend that I'm actually washing it in, so I'm using the same process, except I'm washing it out. (does that make sense?)
_Now, my hair is completely rinsed from the shampoo, and I can move onto the conditioner. I take about a dime-sized amount onto my hand and put it onto my hair. I do not put it on the top of my head because it will make my hair greasy. I only apply the conditioner all over the hair that is just below my ears. I massage it onto my ends to protect them from damage.
_Next, I rinse out my conditioner thoroughly.     -Now, I am out of the shower and I have combed my hair through with a wide-tooth comb because if I brush it, more hair will fall out. The first thing that I do after I comb my hair out, is apply a heat protectant. This will protect my hair from any heat damage.
_Next, I blow dry my hair. I do not section off pieces because my hair only takes about 5 minutes to dry if I'm using a blow dryer.
_Once I'm done blow drying, I will add more heat protectant all over my hair because I usually use a hair straightener. When I apply heat protectant, I usually add more to my ends because that is where my hair needs the most protection.
_Next, I will straighten my hair. I usually section off my hair because u have somewhat frizzy/coarse hair. It can't straighten in just 5 streaks.

I hope that these tips helped you with your hair! Good luck with healthier, happier hair! :)

My shampoo: Generic Value Products- TEA TREE OIL LAVENDER SHAMPOO - Sally Beauty Supply - $7.49

Proactiv...Does it REALLY Work?

About a month ago, I bought the Proactiv 3 step acne system. This product is probably better for people with oily skin like mine. I've watched some reviews on YouTube of people who say that it doesn't work, probably because it doesn't work on THEIR SKIN TYPE. I have really oily skin, and I have been seeing results. I'm guessing that it doesn't work as well on dry skin, because the results I am seeing are pretty good :) The one thing that i don't like about this is that the bottles of step 1 and step 2 are about 2 1/2 inches tall. And the step 3 bottle is even smaller. They look much bigger than the TV ads. They will keep sending you more every month, but you have to keep paying $19.95 every time it comes.

I hope I could help! :) I will be posting a picture of the 3 step system very soon!

Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick vs. Elf Hypershine Gloss

I have the Elf Luscious Liquid Lipstick in Perfect Pink and the Elf Hypershine Gloss in FlirtFrom a distance, these look like the same color, but close up, they clearly aren't the same color. These two colors are very similar to each other. The Hypershine Gloss has a brush applicator, while the Luscious Liquid Lipstick has a spongey applicator. I personally like the Luscious Liquid Lipstick better than the Hypershine Gloss because the spongey applicator makes it easier to apply to my lips. If you have very thin lips, this may not be the best lip product for you.

The cool thing about these products is that they have a twistable knob at the bottom which pumps the product into the applicator. When you first purchase one of these, you will need to twist the knob about 10 times before product reaches the top. The product in the Hypershine Gloss is very gooey and sticky, while the product in the Luscious Liquid Lipstick is less sticky and more smooth. I find the spongey applicator easier to apply, but it gets messier than the Hypershine Gloss around the rim of the gloss stick.

Perfect Pink is a more pinkish color, while Flirt is a more peachy-coral color. I like the Perfect Pink color better than the Flirt color because I think that it is a little "further away" from my natural lip color. I don't like lip colors that are really close to my natural lip color. I just seem to enjoy the more pinkish colors better than the neutral ones because I think they look better on me. You WILL need to reapply both of these products quite often.

I hope that this review helped you! I have listed where i got the products, their full names, and their prices below.

e.l.f Hypershine Gloss -- in Flirt -- Target -- $1
e.l.f. Luscious Liquid Lipstick -- in Perfect Pink -- Target -- $1

Welcome to my Blog!

This blog is about beauty tips, tutorials, and reviews. Mostly on hair products/tools and Makeup. I do NOT use makeup products from Mac or Sephora because I can get the same quality products at drugstores for cheaper prices.

My tips are more for people who are going to use products from stores such as Walmart, CVS, Sally Beauty Supply, and Target. I use a lot of Elf, Maybelline and Avon products. I really like those products because of their quality and prices. The less I spend on my makeup, the more I can buy.

I will also be doing some hair tutorials as well as makeup tutorials that are simple enough for almost anybody to do.

Hope you like it!
